Due to the amount of non-emergency related calls being made to 911, the Washoe County Health District approached The Factory to create a campaign aimed at educating the public on the difference between an emergency and a non-emergency. Utilizing our sense of humor, we centered the campaign on common everyday situations that would be considered a problem but never an emergency. We wanted to remind the public to think before they overreacted and dialed 911 and to use the correct services made available on the think before you dial website (www.thinkbeforeyoudial.com). The campaign ran in movie theaters, buses, and online through the Washoe County Health District website and social media.
